Tours In Paris

Paris is always known as the city of lovers. The beautiful capital city of France is a romantic destination for couples all around the world. But did you know that the city is also a hub for many adventure sports? Even though there are no mountains or an ocean in Paris, the strategically built infrastructure makes a perfect place for many adventure sports that you can enjoy. Here we will introduce some best adventure sports you can try during your tours in Paris.

Climbing

Paris offers a lot of indoor adventure sports for the tourists and one such sport is the climbing. Generally climbing a cliff is the usual adventure sport. Since there is no mountains in Paris, climbing a bouldering is the best option. It is more convenient than climbing a cliff because the fiddly equipments like carabiners, harness, etc. that you need for cliff climbing is not necessary for climbing a bouldering. With the large cushion like mattresses placed below the wall, the risk of getting injured if you lose grip and fall down is almost zero. If you wish to give climbing a go, we advise you to go visit Fontainebleau, Murmur in Issy-les-Moulineaux or Blocbuster in La Defense

Skateboard

The Paris Skate Culture, the largest skate club in France offers private classes for you almost every day. They provide special classes for children and women. If you are looking for a sport that gives you an adrenaline rush, skateboarding is a best option. You can test your balance in freestyle skateboarding in the big concrete skateboarding park in the 18th district. If you prefer a wooden skate park, you can go Jules Noël Skate Park. All the skateboarding classes are supervised by experienced, qualified teachers and all safety gears will be provided from the skate club.

Free Fall Simulator

In Paris, you can enjoy the sensation of free fall without actually having to jump out of an airplane. A 46 feet high glass tube with an atrium opening up to the balconies is set up at the Villette shopping centre that helps to recreate the conditions and sensations of a free fall from the sky. The simulator is set in a secure and controlled surrounding that avoids any risk. You can enjoy an hour and half of simulation fun, including a training session.

Parachute Jump

One of the most extreme sports you can try during your Paris tour is the parachute jump. You have to experience the sensation of a tandem parachute jump once in your lifetime. You will get a quick training of 15 minutes where the instructor will tell you about the important safety measures. Then you will board a plane that will take you to 14,000 feet high. When the plane reaches that height, attach yourself to the instructor and get ready to jump. Then the instructor will open the door and jump out of the plane. You will free-fall for about 50 seconds while witnessing the beautiful panoramic landscape. When you reach a safe distance, the instructor will open the parachute and you will be guided safely to the ground.
